The Moran CITYCENTRE, was nearing a transition before they brought us on. As a new HEI hotel, they needed a new website quickly. An ad agency was hired to design and build the site, but there wasn’t time for more than a basic design of interior pages. After the hotel transitioned, we created a detailed interior page design, rebuilt the site and doubled the website’s pages. We knew from handling the hotel’s reputation management, social media and email marketing that a focus on The Moran’s incredible location inside of Houston’s CITYCENTRE would be helpful. Further, more content was needed to showcase weddings, meetings and event space at the hotel.

The mobile-responsive custom website build took a little over a month from design approval to launch date. We organized navigation by what pages were most popular on the old site and our assessment of the old site’s user experience on a desktop computer, tablet and a phone using various browsers and browser settings as well as taking into consideration which screens (resolution) are most commonly used by the general public in The Moran’s geographic area. Finally, as we were also handling hosting, website ongoing maintenance/security and SEO, the website was equipped with strong back-end SEO capabilities.


The more robust website gained momentum quickly and gathered a lot of compliments via mentions in guest reviews.
